IGNORANCE

I hate my second job. It very depressing.......... I love helping people, but with this job, having to answer phone call after phone call about people who do not read directions on the letter that comes with there visa card, and wondering why they cant activated it.
We get At&t rebate calls, Child support visa card calls, paycheck plus employment calls.
Even when they are ignorant and do not follow directions and i have to help, i dont mind... what i hate is when they want to call and CUSS me out.

Cardholder: Why did i get a card for a rebate, i wanted a check
ME: Sir AT&T only issue rebates in the form of a card, i apoligize for the inconvience
Cardholder: Well i dont want this card, I will just throw this card away
ME: Sir that card has money on it, you can use this card anywhere visa is accepted, buying groceries, gas, stores, and even to pay bills.
Cardholder: I wanted this cash to save in my savings, now the card its worthless to me
ME: this card is your rebate for you to use. Its like a gift card.
Cardholder: this is stupid, how dare you work for a company like this, you should be ashamed.
( this went on for a long time until the mean hateful cussing started)
ME: Im sorry for the inconvience, would you still like me to activate your card for you
Cardholder: NO hangs up

NOTE TO CALLER- sir, really? did you get anywhere with me? NO you wasted my time your time and with not activating your card you wasted your rebate you could have easily used.
You better be lucky i need this job or i would have cussed you back out you ungratedful old hateful hag

I am very sensitive and getting cussed out and yelled at for things i cant solve or do anything about really really depresses me.
Anyone know of a job that needs someone 5-11pm M-F and can pay more than 11 an hour????????
